Practical Recommendation

Want outsized cash back without juggling a dozen credits? This is the classic "groceries + streaming" play. If your supermarket bill is decent, 6% can erase the fee quickly; the broad 3% on gas and transit fills in the rest. Amex also bumped the Disney streaming credit from $7 to $10 a month in 2025, so that alone is now $120 a year against a $95 fee—and it no longer has a minimum-spend hoop.

The first year is free ($0 intro annual fee, then $95), and the public welcome offer runs as high as $300 back after $3,000 in six months. Offers are personalized, so what you actually see on the application may be lower.

Bottom line: If your cart and queue are always full, this is easy, reliable value. Light spenders or warehouse-club shoppers should skip it—Costco and Sam's Club don't code as supermarkets.
