Practical Recommendation

If JetBlue is your go-to a few times a year, this is the "easy mode" pick. You get a free first checked bag for you and up to three companions, a 5,000-point anniversary bonus, and a straightforward $100 JetBlue Vacations credit. The 10% points rebate on award flights is icing if you redeem even occasionally.

If you rarely fly JetBlue, the perks will sit unused. But for casual loyalists, one checked-bag round trip plus the Vacations credit can cover the fee—with room to spare. Bottom line: simple, solid value for JetBlue flyers who are not chasing premium lounges.
