Chase's Hyatt Hotel Card
This card is built for people who actually stay at Hyatt sometimes and like simple value. The annual Category 1–4 free night plus automatic Discoverist status and five elite night credits each year do most of the work. As of mid-2026 cardmembers also get to book award nights 13 months out instead of 12, which matters at the small properties that sell out the day the calendar opens. If you also put a few restaurant or airfare charges on it, the math gets even easier.
If you never see a Hyatt and do not want to track a free night certificate, skip it. Bottom line: casual Hyatt guests get easy, repeatable value from a low annual fee; points chasers can spend toward extra elite nights if that is your thing.
| What It Is: | Complimentary DashPass for 12 months (if activated 2/1/2025–12/31/2027) plus $10 off one non-restaurant DoorDash order each calendar quarter while enrolled. |
| How It Works: | Add this card as your default payment in DoorDash, tap "Activate," then pay with this card; the membership turns on immediately, and the $10 quarterly discount appears in your promo wallet for one eligible non-restaurant order. |
| Gotchas: | Must activate within the promo window; membership auto-renews at the then-current rate unless you cancel; the quarterly $10 is use-it-or-lose-it and applies to subtotal only (fees/taxes/tips still apply). Digital wallets and third-party subscriptions generally do not qualify. |
| Who Actually Benefits: | People who already place at least one non-restaurant DoorDash order every few months (convenience stores, groceries, etc.). |
| Practical Value: | Real savings if you already use DoorDash; worth $0 if you do not. |
| What It Is: | A complimentary three-month Instacart+ membership plus a $10 Instacart credit each month you have an active Instacart+ membership, through December 31, 2027. |
| How It Works: | Activate through the Chase co-brand page at Instacart, add this card to your Instacart account, and the $10 shows up as a monthly coupon you apply at checkout when you pay with this card. |
| Gotchas: | After the three free months you must pay for Instacart+ to keep getting the $10. Unused monthly credits do not roll over, and orders must be placed on Instacart.com or in the app. |
| Who Actually Benefits: | People who already order groceries through Instacart most months; the $10 more than covers the Instacart+ fee if you use it. |
| Practical Value: | Up to $120 a year if you use it every month; realistically $30 if you only take the three free months and walk away. |
This is effectively what you are paying for this card. It is now up to you if the perks, protections, and earning rates are worth this fee to you over other cards.
